Get answers to a list of typical questions that customers ask
What blank do you print on?
Every tee in the line runs on the same 4.5 oz ring-spun cotton softstyle blank. One blank across the catalog means the fit you learn on your first shirt holds for every shirt after it, which is the whole point.
Does every design come in every color?
No. Each design gets a curated set of colorways chosen to suit that specific artwork rather than a blanket run of every shade. It means fewer options per design, and it also means you won't find a combination that looks wrong.
How do your shirts fit?
They run on a unisex softstyle blank, which is slightly slimmer through the body than a heavy cotton tee and a little longer in the torso. If you usually wear a medium in a standard tee, a medium here will fit closer to the body than you might expect.
What sizes do you offer?
Small through 2XL across the line. Every design is available in the same size range, so you won't find a design you like and then discover it stops at large.
Are these unisex or a women's cut?
Unisex. One cut across every design, which is why the fit runs straighter through the waist than a fitted women's tee. Plenty of people size down for a closer fit or size up for a relaxed, tuck-friendly look.
Should I size up?
Size up if you want a relaxed fit, plan to layer under a cardigan, or prefer the shirt to skim rather than hug. Stay true to size if you like a standard modern fit.
Do these shrink after washing?
The blank is preshrunk ring-spun cotton, so the fit you order is the fit you keep. Washing cold and drying low is still the way to keep it that way.
What are your shirts made of?
A 4.5 oz ring-spun cotton softstyle blank. Sport Grey is a 90/10 cotton-poly blend and the heather colors are 65/35, which is what gives them their marled look. Everything else is 100% cotton.
How are the designs printed?
Direct-to-garment printing, which lays the ink into the fabric rather than sitting a thick layer on top of it. The result is a soft hand feel with no plastic-y patch, which matters on a shirt you'll wear all day.
Where is the design printed on the shirt?
Every design in the current line is printed on the front. Placement can vary as the catalog grows, so the product photos are always the accurate reference for any given shirt.
Will the print crack or peel?
Direct-to-garment ink bonds with the cotton fibers instead of sitting on the surface, so it doesn't crack or peel the way a vinyl transfer can. It will soften and fade gradually with a lot of washing, which most people find looks better over time, not worse. Washing cold and inside out slows that down considerably.
How should I wash my shirt?
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Skip the bleach and fabric softener, and if you iron, avoid going directly over the print. Following this is the single biggest factor in how long the design holds up.
Who is Casual Friday Tees for?
Educators, mostly. Classroom teachers, aides, paraprofessionals, specials, and support staff who want something with personality that still passes a dress code. The designs lean warm and a little witty rather than loud, because most teachers want to be recognized, not stared at.
